A self-service directory, reviewed before it publishes

Residential Care Network is a self-service directory of small residential care homes — Adult Family Homes in Washington, and the equivalent licensed home types in other states. Providers create an account, submit their home, and manage their own listing rather than asking a third party to correct outdated information.

Once published, a listing lets families reach the provider directly — by phone call, email, or website visit — with no inquiry form in between.

The directory launches locally in Washington State, focused on Monroe, Snohomish County, and nearby communities, while the underlying infrastructure is built to support all 50 states.

Provider accounts are intended for people authorized to represent a licensed residential care home: the license holder, the operating organization, or a staff member the organization designates as a manager or editor. The provider is responsible for the accuracy of everything it submits.

Administrator privileges are never granted through registration. Every account starts as a provider account with access limited to its own organization, homes, photos, posts, and billing records.

1. Register a provider account and verify your email address.
2. Accept the provider terms and create your organization.
3. Add a home and complete its profile, care capabilities, amenities, and availability.
4. Upload photos and confirm you own or are authorized to use them.
5. Certify that the listing information is accurate and that you are authorized to represent the home, then submit it for review.
6. An administrator reviews the submission and approves, rejects with a reason, or requests changes.
7. Approved listings are published to the directory.

Material changes after approval — such as a name, address, or license number — return the listing to review while the previously approved version stays public.

Families calling a directory that lists openings which filled months ago lose trust in every listing, not just one. Availability carries a last-confirmed date, and a home that has not been reconfirmed within 30 days is publicly marked as not recently confirmed rather than quietly shown as open.

Keeping availability current is also a factor in organic search results. It is one of the few things a provider can do that improves visibility without paying anything.

Every approved home gets a free Basic Directory Listing with a profile, services and amenities, availability status, up to 5 photos, and up to 2 posts per calendar month.

Professional Listing is an optional upgrade at $79 per home per month, available only for an approved and verified home. It increases the photo allowance to 25, removes the monthly post limit, expands the profile presentation, and adds anonymous analytics: profile views, search-result impressions, and clicks on your call, email, and website buttons. No visitor identity or message content is ever collected.

A Professional Listing buys visibility and tools only. They never buy verification, approval, endorsement, or a higher organic ranking, and they do not guarantee any amount of traffic, calls, occupancy, or revenue. It renews monthly until you cancel, and cancelling returns the home to Basic at the end of the paid period without deleting the listing.

Providers confirm that the information in a listing is accurate, that uploaded photos are owned or properly licensed, and that permission exists for any image that identifies a resident. These confirmations are recorded with timestamps. Providers must not upload resident medical records or other highly sensitive personal information.

Because many homes operate from private residences, providers choose how precisely their address appears: exact, approximate, city and ZIP only, or hidden until contact. Exact addresses and exact coordinates are stored securely and are never published automatically.

Providers are expected to keep public contact information and availability current so families can reach them directly.

A future build phase adds the provider dashboard: organization and team management, the home editor, photo library, availability updates, moderated posts, anonymous analytics, and subscription management. None of it exists yet.
